Farid Golshani

Farid Golshani has been licensed to practice law in California since 2018 and practices with ACTS Law, LLP in Encino, where his work centers on insurance recovery for policyholders. He is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law and handles matters in English and Farsi.

He works with California policyholders whose property claims have been denied, delayed, or paid at less than the loss appears to be worth. The starting point in each matter is the policy itself: what it covers, what it excludes, and what the insurer was required to do once the claim was reported.

Much of that work is documentary. Claim files, adjuster correspondence, engineering and estimating reports, and the policyholder's own record of the loss are reviewed together so the disagreement can be described precisely rather than in general terms.

Where the record supports it, the disagreement is presented to the insurer in writing with the policy language and supporting documents attached. Where it does not resolve, the same record is what a claim in litigation would be built on.
